The SeaStar steering cable set is suitable for outboard motors up to 40 kW / 55 hp. This steering system is quite easy to connect to your outboard motor. In many cases, the cable is connected to the bracket of the outboard motor by means of the large nut that is on the cable. On the other side, the steering pin comes out of the bracket, a tiller arm can be mounted here that you then connect to the motor. If this is not an option, you can use a transom mounting set. This is similar to the bracket mounting.
